RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

Black Rhino Group maintains that the responsibility of providing drinking alcohol comes with a joint responsibility between the patron and venue.
We’re dedicated to serving our customers in a competent and responsible way, in compliance with the applicable regulations as outlined by the VCGLR and adhering to the approved Liquor Service Codes of Practice.
We are aware drinking of alcohol and consumption by minors is a serious issues that have serious consequences. Our staff is trained on Responsible service of alcohol. We actively promote responsible consumption of alcohol among our customers.
We require that current, valid photo identification proof of age from young adults prior to the sale of alcohol in any of our locations.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE 

Black Rhino Group is committed to providing responsible gambling at every one of our locations. We strive to ensure that our locations provide our patrons with an environment that is secure and welcoming in which our patrons are able to make informed decisions about gambling and get timely help and advice from our knowledgeable staff. Black Rhino Group seeks to beat all the requirements of the state’s gambling laws within the State of Victoria. We recognize that gambling addiction is a significant social issue and that a tiny percentage of our patrons may be affected through gambling.

SELF EXCLUSION

We provide Self Exclusion according to the recommendations of Australian Hotels Association (Victoria) at all of our hotels.
The program is available to those who wish to be excluded from any gaming venue in Victoria and makes an arrangement between the participant and the venue, which includes:

• Consenting to not entering the gaming machine zone or use electronic gaming machines in designated venues
• Staff members are authorized to prevent the person from entering the gaming area
• The authorisation of personal details and photos to be taken , and later distributed to the designated venues and to those places to display the images in restricted areas for employees.
• Recognizing that the staff of venues at venues that are nominated do not have any obligation to comply with the law as outlined in the exclusion deed
• The waiver of any rights to sue the venues they have appointed to exclude from their personnel or program manager on the ground of defamation, harassment, or a failure to perform the duty of care to exclusion
