Seaford Park Primary School
Our goal is to achieve quality learning outcomes for all students within a culture of high expectations by providing a modern learning environment that encourages collaboration and learning among all members of the school community. In order to accomplish this, our mission is to provide a contemporary learning environment.
Learners are at the forefront of everything we do here at Seaford Park Primary School, and that commitment drives everything we do. To ensure that our students and the ways in which they learn are the primary focal points in each of our classes, we collaborate as a community of professionals committed to lifelong learning in order to accomplish this goal. This involves holding formalized discussions once a week, starting with the analysis of data, research, and the sharing of best practices, with the goal of ensuring that every teacher is actively participating in continuous professional learning and that every student is being taught at their own individual point of need.
We provide a wide variety of specialized courses, some of them are as follows: Indonesian, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Science. These courses, along with well crafted teaching and learning programs, make it possible for our students to demonstrate a wide range of approaches to learning and interests in a variety of topics. Our team is dedicated to providing a challenging environment that is also supportive of all of our students. Our relationships with the Student Support Services, Biala, and Ardoch have all matured to a high level of maturity.
We place a high importance on the social aspects of learning and make it possible for students to work together on their academic pursuits at various points throughout the school day. A spirit of inquiry and curiosity can be encouraged by providing children with chances for leadership roles within the context of their educational experience, such as membership in a Junior School Council. This is further improved by the involvement of parents and families in the education process as important partners. Parents can get engaged in the school in a variety of ways, including working in the classroom and accompanying their children on field trips, as well as joining our School Council and its subcommittees.
In the year 2022, the workforce is working together on a number of different areas of concentration. Mathematics is the subject that we place the most emphasis on when it comes to teaching and learning, and we are aiming to further improve the involvement of our kids through something called “School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports” (SWPBS). Our goal is to make sure that our school is connected to each and every one of our families as well as the greater community of Seaford.
